Youth key for Saddlers - Sansara

The 19-year-old left-back, who broke through last season before making 11 appearances in total for the Saddlers, signed a new contract at the Banks's Stadium last week. And he has praised manager Chris Hutchings' attitude towards bringing youth-team players into the senior ranks, telling the club's official website: "You only have to look at the side last season to see that the manager isn't afraid to give young players a chance. "There were the likes of Alex Nicholls, Troy Deeney, Mark Bradley, Richard Taundry and Manny Smith all in the first team. All of us have come through the youth system together and it would be great if we formed the basis of the Walsall team for years to come. "We are all very close and get on well, so it would be great if we stuck together." On a personal note, Sansara added: "I can't afford to take my foot off the pedal. I need to establish myself. It is a long, hard process and I know I must work hard. That is what I will do."
