Weston injury blow for Saddlers

12 March 2010 11:36
Weston suffered a hamstring injury in the Saddlers' 2-2 draw against Millwall last week and has failed to recover in time for this weekend's clash.

Striker Sam Parkin is rated as 50/50 to feature as he continues his rehabilitation from a groin injury, with a reserve game next week his target should he not make the squad this time around.

Boss Chris Hutchings could recall goalkeeper Clayton Ince to replace Rene Gilmartin between the sticks given the latter's recent poor form.

Gilmartin was at fault for one of Millwall's goals in last weekend's 2-2 draw at the Banks's Stadium.

Walsall have won just two of their last six games and currently lie 11th in League One.
