Saddlers at full strength

Walsall boss Dean Smith has a fully fit squad for the season-opener against against Oldham but must decide on his goalkeeper.

Neil Etheridge and Craig MacGillivray are competing for the No.1 shirt after Richard O'Donnell left for Wigan in the summer.

Milan Lalkovic has returned after re-joining from Barnsley following a loan spell in 2013 and Jason Demetriou is also set for his debut.

Tom Bradshaw, who scored 20 goals last season, is expected to spearhead the Saddlers' attack.

David Dunn is in line to make his debut for the Latics.

The 35-year-old signed a one-year contract at Boundary Park earlier this summer following his release from Blackburn and looks set to start in midfield.

Oldham manager Darren Kelly was pleased to report a clean bill of health ahead of the match.

That means the other six new signings he has made this summer could also feature. Lee Croft may make the first start of his third spell at the club. George Green, Jake Cassidy, Gavin Gunning and Jonathan Burn are also available.
