Smith has options

Walsall boss Dean Smith has some welcome selection dilemmas ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet League One clash with Coventry.

Full-backs James O'Connor and Andy Taylor were brought in to replace Ben Purkiss and Rico Henry for last Sunday's win over MK Dons and both will hope to start again after putting in fine displays.

Taylor was returning from a knee injury but Sam Mantom is still sidelined with a similar problem.

The Saddlers will have 20-year-old midfielder Keiron Morris available after giving him a new contract until the end of the season.

Adam Barton and James Maddison are back for Coventry following one-match bans.

Both players missed Sunday's goalless draw with Chesterfield after being sent off for two bookable offences in the Boxing Day loss at Doncaster.

Steven Pressley could also recall teenager Jack Finch after he was rested last weekend, although Conor Thomas did well when coming in.

Strikers Gary Madine and Frank Nouble are available before their respective loan deals come to an end, but Seb Hines has been absent since late October due to injury problems.
