Same again for Walsall in cup

Walsall are set to be unchanged against Brighton in the Capital One Cup as they look for a fifth straight win.

Dean Smith's side are second in Sky Bet League One and beat Nottingham Forest 4-3 at the City Ground in the first round.

The Saddlers are unbeaten this season, along with Brighton, and Smith is eager to claim another Sky Bet Championship scalp after their victory over Forest.

"It's two in-form teams coming up against each other because they're on fire as well," he told the club's official site. "They won again (1-0 against Blackburn) and are unbeaten. One of the unbeaten runs will have to go on Tuesday, hopefully it will be Brighton's."

Connor Goldson will have to wait to make his Brighton debut.

The centre-half, signed last week from Shrewsbury, is cup-tied after featuring for his former club in their first-round win at Blackburn.

Striker Bobby Zamora has yet to figure for the Seagulls since rejoining them this summer but the ex-England international is close to being in contention.

Jack Harper, the summer signing from Real Madrid, is still recovering from an ankle injury but boss Chris Hughton has an otherwise fully-fit squad to choose from.
