Butler back to serve Walsall

Walsall captain Andy Butler is available to face Bradford.

The defender was set to miss the clash with the Bantams following his red card against Leyton Orient last weekend, but had it rescinded after a successful appeal.

Julian Gray rejoined the Saddlers on a deal until January last week and, after failing to break into Dean Smith's squad for the Orient clash, is hoping to be included on Saturday.

Amadou Bakayoko, who bagged a brace against Oldham on reserve duty in midweek, is also pushing to be involved.

Bradford will be without leading goalscorer Nahki Wells as they look to extend their unbeaten league run to seven matches.

Wells sustained ankle ligament damage in last week's home win against Shrewsbury and will be sidelined for at least another fortnight, so Mark Yeates, Alan Connell and Andy Gray will all come into the reckoning.

Recent recruit Caleb Folan could also come into contention after signing a short-deal until December last weekend.

Boss Phil Parkinson also has concerns over skipper Gary Jones, who is nursing a tight hamstring, and winger Garry Thompson (Achilles) and defender Rory McArdle, whose training has been disrupted this week due to illness.
