Walker back in saddle

Jimmy Walker is in line for his second Walsall debut at high-flying Huddersfield. But manager Chris Hutchings will be without captain Darren Byfield and centre-back Andrew Davies. Goalkeeper Walker re-signed for the Saddlers on Friday morning on an initial deal until the end of January, returning to the club he made 475 appearances for over 11 years before leaving for West Ham in 2004. Striker Byfield (knee) has suffered a minor setback in training which will rule him out of the trip to the Galpharm Stadium, although he remains hopeful of being ready for Tuesday's visit of Peterborough. On-loan Stoke defender Davies was on Thursday ruled out for around three weeks having suffered a slight tear in his thigh muscle, meaning Clayton McDonald is likely to come into the heart of defence.
