Richard Taundry is likely to be in contention at Exeter as Walsall manager Dean Smith looks to celebrate his full-time appointment with a much-needed victory. The midfielder failed a fitness test on his ankle injury prior to last weekend`s 4-2 home defeat at the hands of Huddersfield, but he is set to be available this time around as the Saddlers look to end a five-match winless streak. The signs of progress have been evident under Smith during his three-game stint as caretaker boss, and he was rewarded on Friday morning with the reins until the end of the season. Goalkeeper Jimmy Walker overcame his hamstring complaint to make the bench against the Terriers and will continue to press current incumbent David Bevan for the number one jersey. Winger Steve Jones has signed a season-long loan deal with Motherwell and so will not be available On-loan full-back Ryan McGivern has this week been recalled by parent club Manchester City, although he had not started a match for the Saddlers since early November.
