Striker shortage for Saddlers
Walsall manager Chris Hutchings has a striker shortage ahead of his side's trip to Brighton.
Steve Jones and Darren Byfield are definite absentees, while Jonathan Macken is doubtful.
Jones limped out of last week's 2-1 win over Plymouth as a scan revealed he sustained a sprained ankle and could be out of action for two to three weeks, while Byfield will miss his second match running with an Achilles problem.
Macken suffered a calf strain in a behind closed doors friendly and Hutchings will make a late decision on the forward.
Those injuries mean Hutchings is likely to stick with the pairing of Reuben Reid and Alex Nicholls in attack.
Reid made a dream start to his Saddlers career following his loan move from West Brom as he scored the winner against the Pilgrims.
