Stourbridge v Walsall gets go ahead

Both clubs met on Tuesday to discuss whether the ground was suitable to host the first-round encounter on Saturday November 7, with members of the local police and council present.[LNB]The Zamaretto Southern League Premier Division club also canvassed the views of the Football Association before the verdict was agreed.[LNB]A Walsall spokesman said: "Stourbridge progressed through four qualifying rounds to get to the first round proper for the first time in their history. They wanted to play the game at their ground and they've got every right to.[LNB]"Everyone was happy with the decision, it was never an issue from our point of view. Our biggest concern was just the health and safety of supporters."[LNB]The tie will kick off at 1pm and the Stadium Safety Advisory Group are meeting on Wednesday to discuss the size of Walsall's ticket allocation.[LNB][LNB]
