Scoreline was flattering - Hutchings

Walsall boss Chris Hutchings claimed his side`s 3-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday was harsh and refused to point the finger at his men. The Saddlers remain rock bottom of League One and seven points from safety after goals from Darren Potter, Mark Beevers and Clinton Morrison condemned them to a fifth defeat in six league games. Hutchings said: "I thought the scoreline flattered them, to be honest. I thought the lads played quite well. They showed confidence and bravery but they were just lacking in the final third. "We passed well in the first half and their fans were getting a bit anxious. We had some chances but we didn't capitalise. Going in at 1-0 down we felt hard done by. "I thought we shaded the first half and they shaded the second half, but goals dictate. We didn't win the ball for the second goal. "You're always disappointed when you concede three goals. When chances came we didn't take them. You've got to keep working at it."
