Saddlers wait on Mattis

Walsall boss Richard Money fears that on-loan midfielder Dwayne Mattis may have cracked a bone in his leg.

The 26-year-old Barnsley star had to be stretchered off the pitch midway through the first half of the goalless draw with Tranmere Rovers.

Money said: "It's not looking great. We're hoping that he hasn't cracked a bone but he'll have an X-ray on Monday to find out whether that's the case.

"Obviously we're keeping our fingers crossed. We hope he hasn't cracked something but we think he may have."
