Walsall manager Richard Money has made Cardiff City midfielder Kevin Cooper his second loan signing in 24 hours following the capture of Stoke City winger Kevin Harper.
Cooper, who made his name at Stockport County, also played for Derby County, Wimbledon and Wolves during his career before joining the Bluebirds 18 months ago.
He has scored two goals in 44 appearances for Dave Jones' side, but has not started a Championship game for the club this season.
"It's an exciting signing for the team, the club and the fans," Money told the Saddlers' official website.
"Kevin has played at a higher level and has the experience, ability and quality that we need.
"We are only too aware that we need something extra in the final third and both Kevin Cooper and Kevin Harper will provide it."
