Loan arrival Aaron Brown is keen to revive his career at Walsall after completing his switch from Reading on deadline day.
The 24-year-old central defender has failed to make a first-team appearance for the Royals and may have to step down from the Premier League to improve his chances of regular football.
He told the Saddlers' official website: "My aim while I'm here is to improve my match-fitness levels and do a job for Walsall as we look to secure a play-off place.
"I already know a few of the lads here and know what this club's all about. It was an easy decision when I found out about Walsall's interest on Thursday.
"It was disappointing to find myself out of action for the whole of last season through injury, but I've come back stronger both mentally and physically and I can't wait to get started.
"I'm relishing the challenge to break into the team and show people what I'm capable of."
