Walsall boss Richard Money has revealed he is hoping to extend the loans stays of Kevin Harper and Kevin Cooper until the end of the season.
The midfield duo have been on loan at the League Two promotion hopefuls since February from Stoke City and Cardiff City respectively and Money is looking to secure their services for the remainder of the promotion run in.
"We are a passing team that try to play through the middle of the park and the two loan lads help us to do that," he told the Midlands Express & Star.
"They give the lads at the back the belief that that can play the ball into the midfield and be confident that they will hold on to it.
"They have done very well since they've been here and obviously we would like them to stay.
"We will sit down and talk to them this week and if they want to stay we will talk to their clubs and see if we can keep them until the end of the season."
