Walsall's latest signing Rhys Weston is looking forward to kick-starting his career after admitting to becoming frustrated last season.
The 26-year-old right-back has agreed a 12-month deal with the Saddlers after spending the final three months of last term with Port Vale.
Weston had previously been with Cardiff City for almost six years before moving to Norwegian side V Stavanger last summer.
"I'm really excited by the move and I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead," he told Walsall's official website.
"It's been an interesting journey up until this point and I'm looking forward to the next stage in my career. Last year wasn't great for me professionally, so I'm just looking ahead now and want to make a real impact here.
"I've played the majority of my career at Championship level and got a taste of League One last season with Port Vale. This is a good move for me and I'm determined to play my part."
