Walsall went down 2-1 to Premier League neighbours Aston Villa in their latest pre-season friendly.After an end-to-end opening, Villa took the lead in the 25th minute courtesy of Andreas Weimann`s first of his matchwinning brace.Both sides hit the woodwork after the restart before Weimann grabbed his second of the match shortly after the hour mark to double the visitors` advantage.Alex Nicholls set up a nervy conclusion 15 minutes from time but the Saddlers were left winless yet again in front of a bumper crowd of 5,735 at the Banks`s Stadium.
