The Walsall forward, 33, was in good form until sustaining a groin problem against Southampton at the start of December, one that proved a lot more troublesome than first expected.[LNB]The road to recovery finally started to show signs of nearing an end last month as he returned to full training and appeared for the reserves.[LNB]But Jones' true comeback came on Saturday, ironically in the Saddlers' return clash against Saints, as he appeared from the bench to make a 25-minute cameo at St Mary's.[LNB]"It's been a very frustrating three months," Jones told Walsall's official website. "I would go as far to say it has been the lowest point of my career as I have never been out for this long.[LNB]"All I want to do now is get out there and play. I have worked extremely hard with the physio over the past few months and hopefully now I can put the injury behind me and start pushing on. It's time for me to start looking up rather than down now."[LNB][LNB]
