The 37-year-old on Tuesday became the final member of Chris Hutchings' squad to come to a decision over new terms, penning a one-year extension with the option of a further 12 months. And with the new boss preparing for his first full season in charge having only arrived back in January, there are promising times ahead at the Banks's Stadium over the next 10 months. "I think League One is going to be just as exciting as the Premier League and Championship this season," Ince told the club's official website. "We put down the foundations last season and did well. We have some promising young lads and an excellent team spirit, which will count for a lot." He added: "From a personal point of view I want, first and foremost, to maintain the high standards that I set myself last year and build upon them as the season goes on. There is plenty of competition for places here and that can only be a good thing as it keeps everyone sharp and on their toes."
