Walsall have completed the signings of attacking duo Reuben Reid and Jon Macken.
West Brom winger Reid, 22, has joined on a five-month loan deal, while 32-year-old former Manchester City frontman Macken has penned a one-year deal with a view to an extension.
Both players go straight into the Saddlers squad to face Plymouth on Saturday.
"We are delighted to have Reuben on board," boss Chris Hutchings told the club's official website. "He's a young, hungry player with a proven track record. He can play out wide or through the middle."
Macken has spent the past week training with the Walsall squad and Hutchings added: "Jon is a goalscorer. He has scored goals where ever he has been and played at the highest level.
"He has spent all of his career either at Premier League or Championship level and I expect him to be a real force in League One."
