Saddlers ready for new campaign
Sam Parkin was on target as Walsall racked up a 1-0 win at Hereford.
The Saddlers took the lead when former Luton man Parkin nodded in a corner midway through the first half and Chris Hutchings' side held on for victory in their final pre-season game.
Trialist Matt Richards was again given a run-out as Hutchings prepares his side for the new League One season.
