Saddlers cancel Christmas
Walsall`s players have cancelled their Christmas party to instead focus on hauling themselves off the foot of the League One table.
Most workplaces up and down the country will be celebrating the festive period over the coming weeks, something which has attracted unwanted headlines of its own for football clubs and most notably players in recent years.
But there will be no Christmas cheer at the Banks`s Stadium this year until the Saddlers turn around the dismal form which has seen them win just three of their last 19 games in all competitions.
Walsall currently find themselves seven points from safety at the bottom of League One.
