Saddlers boss targeting play-offs

Goals from Troy Deeney and Alex Nicholls secured Saturday's League One at Bescot, which leaves the Saddlers unbeaten in five games due to a huge improvement in performances since Hutchings replaced Jimmy Mullen as manager six weeks ago. Walsall are still eight points below the play-offs, but Hutchings said: "Numerous clubs will have an outside chance of making the play-offs, and if we keep winning we shall have a chance. We are winning games at the moment and confidence is high. "We deserved to win. In the first half we created few chances but never really tested their keeper, but in the second half I thought we ran out worthy winners."
