Reid: One win is all we need

Reuben Reid believes Walsall just need one positive result to kickstart a revival and turn around their mediocre start to the season. Saturday`s 2-1 defeat at home to Swindon, during which on-loan West Brom forward Reid briefly levelled, was the Saddlers` fifth successive defeat in all competitions. It was also their seventh of a nine-game season to date which saw them pick up early wins against Brentford and Plymouth. But Reid is confident success is not far away should they just be able to stop the current rot and get an uplifting scoreline on the board. "Another sloppy goal cost us dearly (against Swindon) and it`s fair to say we`re just not getting the luck at the moment," he told the club`s official website. "People will talk about our run of defeats, but based on our performances these results have not been warranted. The quality is certainly within the squad and I feel that one result will turn things around for us. "I`m confident in the ability that we have here to get result and then go on a run to lift us up the table."
