Quartet to leave Saddlers

Walsall boss Chris Hutchings has released four of his experienced first-team players.

Stephen Hughes, Michael Ricketts, Paul Boertien and Hassan Bacchus, who are all out of contract at the end of June, will not be offered new deals at the Banks' Stadium.

"We'd like to thank Stephen, Michael, Paul and Hassan for their efforts during the course of the season and wish them all the very best for the future," said Hutchings.

Meanwhile, Clayton Ince, Rene Gilmartin, Manny Smith, Netan Sansara, Sofiene Zaaboub, Jabo Ibehre, Richard Davies and Chris Palmer have all been offered new contracts.
