English footballer Darren Byfield was born on September 29, 1976. The time he spent at Walsall was steady and in their 2001 Play-Off against Reading he scored the winning goal. He has also played for Aston Villa, Rotherham United and Gillingham. In the 2004/2005 season Byfield scored 14 goals, which was one short of the target set by the manager.
