Player Details

Andy Taylor is a left back who joined Sheffield United in the summer of 2009 from Tranmere Rovers.  Andy is a player with good defensive qualities and the ability to push forward down the flank to give support to the midfield. He began the 2010-11 season as the Blades' first choice but lost his place to Stephen Jordan.  Shortly after his return he injured his knee in December, bringing his season to an early end. He began his career at Blackburn Rovers where he gained senior experience in loan spells but was unable to break into the first team. Andy is a former England U19 and U20 international.
