Mullen prepared to wait

New Walsall manager Jimmy Mullen has called for patience as the club's fans grow increasingly frustrated at the lack of transfer action at the Banks' Stadium so far this summer.
The Saddlers released ten players at the end of last season and, with just over six weeks to the start of the new campaign, the fans are still waiting for the first new arrival.
Mullen admitted to the Express & Star: "It's time we started signing some players. But we have to make sure that the players we bring in are the right ones.
"Many players are on holiday at the moment or are mulling over offers from a number of clubs, including ourselves.
"I know the depth of squad I want to take in to the new season and rest assured this will be in place by the time we start the season.
"I'm looking to build a squad of players that are our players. My main aim is to bring in players that are committed to playing for Walsall.
"There is a rebuilding job to be done. Judge me on the players I bring in and the way my team performs."
