Mullen happy with Saddlers

Walsall manager Jimmy Mullen was left perplexed after being sent to the stands during his side's 3-1 victory at Bristol Rovers. Mullen was sent packing 20 minutes from time at the Memorial Stadium, but was buoyed by the Saddlers' impressive win over the Pirates. He commented: "I had no idea what I'd done wrong because the ref never told me, but I'm lead to believe it was continually encroaching out of my technical area. "If that is the case, I find it amazing. I am a passionate manager who wants to support his team and if I do stray outside the box occasionally, what's wrong with that? "I'll be speaking to the officials to clarify this situation. But I'm proud of my team because it was an excellent performance and a fully-deserved result."
