Mullen hails Ibehre potential

Walsall boss Jimmy Mullen believes that summer signing Jabo Ibehre will prove to be a big hit with the Saddlers this season.

The 25-year-old was allowed to leave Leyton Orient in the summer, having scored 41 goals in 242 appearances for the O's, with Mullen feeling that Ibehre has the talent to go a long way in the game.

Mullen told the Express & Star: "Jabo has been sensational since he's been here. If he could score goals on a regular basis, he would be a £1million footballer.

"His worth ethic is fantastic and what he does for the team is first-rate. He is only 25 years of age and he has not even reached his prime.

"Now it's up to us as coaches to make sure we give him the best chance of finishing those chances."
