Money missed title winner

Walsall manager Richard Money has revealed he missed the goal that secured the League Two title for the Saddlers at the weekend.

Money was sent to the stands during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Swindon Town and missed Dean Keates' injury-time equaliser which ensured they finished ahead of Hartlepool United at the top of the table.

"I could've gone into the stands but I did not want to antagonise the situation so I stayed in the tunnel and I had no idea what was happening for most of the last 20 minutes," revealed Money.

"I knew Hartlepool were ahead at half-time and in the space of two minutes we had made sure of becoming champions as a result of our equaliser and Bristol Rovers winning."
