McGivern joins Saddlers

Walsall have completed the season-long loan of Manchester City's Northern Ireland international Ryan McGivern.The 20-year-old left-back spent last term on loan at Leicester where he appeared 14 times for the promotion-chasing Foxes.Saddlers boss Chris Hutchings said: "We are delighted to have Ryan on board."He is another young lad who we have been monitoring for some time and will be a welcome addition to our squad."We know what he is capable of and he comes here keen to gain experience."He certainly has pedigree behind him and we are grateful for Manchester City allowing him to come here and continue his footballing education."
