McGivern back for Saddlers

Ryan McGivern returns from suspension for Walsall`s trip to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday. The full-back has served the three-match ban imposed for his crude challenge in the Saddlers` initial 1-1 FA Cup draw at Fleetwood and will hope to return to Chris Hutchings` starting XI. However, it remains to be seen whether the Walsall boss will opt to make any changes after Saturday`s 2-1 win over Carlisle - the club`s first triumph in six league games and only their second in 14. Winger Martin Devaney and central defender Clayton McDonald will both face late fitness tests on their hamstring injuries having failed to make their return against the Cumbrians. Striker Jon Macken made his comeback from a calf problem at the weekend and has suffered no ill-effects.
