Key duo miss out for Saddlers

Walsall will be without Emmanuel Ledesma and Clayton McDonald for their home encounter against Sheffield Wednesday. Exciting attacking midfielder Ledesma was shown a red card during last weekend's 3-1 defeat to champions Brighton and starts a three-match suspension. That ban means the Argentinian will now only be available for the Saddlers' final match of the campaign away to Southampton. Recently recalled centre-back McDonald sustained a shoulder injury against the Seagulls and has duly been ruled out for the remainder of the season, with the former Manchester City defender having undergone surgery on Thursday. Walsall's only other absentee remains full-back Aaron Lescott who continues to struggle with a knee ligament strain sustained in early March. Dean Smith's side find themselves back in the bottom four after Notts County won their game in hand at Tranmere in midweek.
