Jones aiming for victory over Gills

The Saddlers have so far drawn against Southend and lost to Leeds at the Banks's Stadium this season, with the Gills the visitors on Saturday. At this early stage of the campaign, three points could catapult the club from lower mid-table to the top ten, and Jones knows maintaining solid home form as soon as possible will be key if the midlands outfit are to launch a play-off challenge. The forward told the club's official website: "Southend was a bit of a shame but at least we got a point, we performed well against Leeds and hopefully it will be third time lucky. "At home you need your first win and then get as many points as you can away from home, that should keep you in good stead for the rest of the season. "The better the team does the more fans come and watch. They pay their money and want to see the team do well, if we do that then we will get the fans in."
