Tranmere boss Les Parry has been boosted after Dale Jennings was passed fit for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at Bury. The homegrown midfielder was substituted midway through the second half in Saturday's FA Cup first-round defeat at Bournemouth. Parry said: "We thought Dale had done his calf but it was only a bit of cramp so that's really good news and he'll be in the side. "We've got a bit of sickness in the camp but they'll get over that." Midfielders Alan Mahon and Paul McLaren are recovering well from injury but are not yet ready for a first-team return. Defender Ash Taylor, 20, has given Rovers another boost by returning to training after four months out with a knee injury.
