Walsall boss Jimmy Mullen blamed poor defending for his side's shock home defeat to Leyton Orient.
The 2-0 loss was only the Saddlers' second defeat of the campaign and, to compound a poor afternoon for the club, both Stephen Hughes and Stephen Roberts picked up injuries.
"We didn't defend in the manner we should have done," said Mullen. "We made some poor defensive decisions and it's cost us dear.
"Two mad moments where we didn't do the job we should have done has seen us lose this game and I'm disappointed for the fans who've turned up.
"I thought that our approach play was okay but we needed to be sharper in front of goal.
"Both Stephen Hughes and Stephen Roberts had to go off with calf problems and it's frustrating for us to lose two such important players."
