Hutchings warns Deeney

Walsall manager Chris Hutchings has warned striker Troy Deeney to curb his aggression as he prepares to make a return to the first-team fold on Tuesday evening.

The youngster missed Saturday's goalless draw at home to Bristol Rovers but could return to face the Pirates as they prepare to face them for the second time in four days.

He was dismissed in the 1-1 home draw with Charlton Athletic on February 2 and has now served his one-match ban. However, Hutchings has pre-warned him over his future conduct ahead of the League One clash.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "Troy is very committed and works extremely hard for the team and is scoring goals, but he got booked for having a go at the referee and he has to learn from that.

"It could cost us and he has to learn. You aren't going to change the refereeing decisions. If he hadn't gobbed off he would have only got a yellow card.

"It's something he has to learn, simple as that and you get booked for things like that these days."
