In the 63rd minute, Aaron Doran capitalised on defensive uncertainty and crossed for Sean Thornton to slide home.[LNB]Thornton added a second goal nine minutes later following good work from Jonathan Tehoue and Scott McGleish on the right-hand side.[LNB]Walsall never looked like finding a way back into the game and failed to muster an attempt on goal after the interval.[LNB]"It was a disappointing afternoon, although I thought the first half was even. We had a few chances and there was not a lot in the game," said Hutchings. "Saying that, in the second half we did not create too much and the first goal we conceded was a very poor goal. A lack of concentration cost us there. One lapse of concentration cost us and the players have got to learn from that.[LNB]"We didn't work their keeper hard enough which is disappointing. I didn't think the conditions helped much but it was the same for them. Sometimes we perform very well, sometimes we don't."[LNB][LNB]
