Hutchings: It just didn't fall for us

The League Two outfit won the tie 5-4 on spot-kicks after a drab game at the Banks's Stadium ended goalless after 90 minutes. Walsall's top scorer Sam Parkin had registered two penalties in League One games this season, yet ironically missed the vital first one from the spot, hitting the left-hand post with keeper Wayne Brown beaten. Hutchings said: "I thought in the first half we were the better side but it did not quite fall for us and they defended quite well. "Darren Byfield had a good chance to score but chose to pass the ball instead of shooting."
