Hutchings: Deeney outburst forgotten

18 March 2010 16:01
Local lad Deeney labelled the performance "embarrassing" and went on to question the desire of some of his team-mates and their chances of earning new contracts in the summer.[LNB]As the row rumbled on, assistant manager Martin O'Connor subsequently criticised the striker for the unprofessional way in which he aired his views in public.[LNB]But Hutchings does not want the incident to snowball and insists the matter is now over, with Deeney unlikely to face any form of punishment.[LNB]"It's finished with, we're disappointed but emotions run high and you say things you'd like to keep in the dressing room," said the Saddlers boss. "Troy has aired his views but we've drawn a line under it now."[LNB][LNB]
