Hughes in contention for Saddlers

The centre-back has missed the last four games with a hip problem but will by no means walk back into Hutchings' side with his defence having racked up three successive clean sheets in Hughes' absence. Goalkeeper Clayton Ince returns after his international exploits with Trinidad and Tobago while midfielder Mark Bradley has overcome a groin problem and is in contention. Defender Stephen Roberts is set to have a scan on his back and will miss out, however, with hopes the problem is not linked to the severe back spasms which ruled him out for a lengthy period last term. Strikers Sam Parkin and Alex Nicholls will both be competing to start up front having scored for the reserves in midweek, while there will be a reunion with former Saddlers striker Michael Ricketts after his move to Prenton Park last month.
