Walsall manager Chris Hutchings has completed the signing of former Birmingham City and Crystal Palace winger Julian Gray until the end of the season.
The ex-Arsenal youth product made a £500,000 move to Palace in 2000 after making just one substitute appearance for the Gunners and played a prominent role as the Eagles reached the Premier League in 2004.
He was then transferred to Birmingham City before moving on to Coventry City, Fulham and more recently Barnsley.
The 30-year-old makes the move to the Banks' Stadium after featuring in seven Tykes first-team fixtures, including the Carling Cup defeat to Manchester United in October.
Subject to FA clearance, Gray could make his debut in Saturday's League One clash at Oldham Athletic.
