Walsall have confirmed that they have accepted a bid from Coventry City for left-back Daniel Fox.
The 21-year-old former Everton trainee is also a target for Colchester United and Leeds United, but the Sky Blues now seem to be set to win the race for Fox's signature.
Fox has been with the Saddlers since the summer of 2005, scoring six goals in 118 appearances.
Meanwhile, midfielder Martin Brittain has left the Saddlers at the end of his short-term contract, having made just three appearances as a substitute.
One man back at the Bescot Stadium is goalkeeper Rene Gilmartin, who has returned to the League One club after a lengthy loan spell with Hednesford Town.
