The 20-year-old's contract expires at the end of the season and the left-back, who has featured 11 times during the 2009-10 campaign so far, has now targeted staying at the Banks's Stadium beyond the summer.[LNB]He told the Express & Star: "I want my long-term future secure, in football that's what every player wants. I'm no different, I know I'm young and might have to work an extra bit harder but I'm willing to do that.[LNB]"My performances on the pitch have begun to show maturity and hopefully I can stay in the team and earn a nice new deal."[LNB][LNB]
