Deeney, who has six goals to his name this season, will serve a one-match suspension having picked up his fifth booking of the campaign in last weekend's 3-1 home defeat to Southampton.[LNB]Sam Parkin and Alex Nicholls are both competing to be direct replacements, while leading goalscorer Steve Jones could always be moved up front from his wide position to partner Darren Byfield, who returns to his former club.[LNB]Midfielder Richard Taundry and full-back Jamie Vincent both continued their rehabilitation for the reserves on Tuesday in a 1-1 draw against Burton, but it remains to be seen if either make the bench. Clayton McDonald will be among the substitutes for the last time under the terms of his current loan agreement before returning to Manchester City.[LNB]McDonald is currently being kept out of the Saddlers' starting XI by Manny Smith, who was knocked unconscious in the corresponding fixture last season and needed hospital treatment.[LNB]Ahead of the fixture, Smith said: "If the ball is there to be won, I will put my head in. I am there to defend and if I get knocked out, so be it. I would do exactly the same again."[LNB][LNB]
