Deeney back in the saddle

Walsall welcome top scorer Troy Deeney back into the fold for their second meeting with Bristol Rovers in the space of four days. The striker missed Saturday's goalless draw at the Banks's Stadium due to suspension but will go straight back into Chris Hutchings' starting XI for the rearranged clash at the Memorial Stadium. Otherwise, it is as you were for Hutchings with right-back Rhys Weston (hamstring) and forward Steve Jones (groin) both still out. The club's first-choice central defensive partnership is again in doubt with Mark Hughes (ankle) and Manny Smith (thigh) unlikely to start as they battle to regain their fitness. Winger Peter Till took a kick at the weekend but he should be okay for the return clash in Bristol as the Saddlers look to end an eight-match winless streak that stretches back to the start of December - their longest drought of the campaign to date.
