Byfield relieved to be off the mark
The much-travelled striker found the net for the first time since he returned to the club in Saturday's win at Prenton Park.
"It was a big thing for me and I'm glad to get off the mark," he said.
"As a striker you do start getting worried about the goals drying up but now I've got one, I'll be looking to kick on from here.
"Hopefully we've given the fans something to cheer about and we can build on that result."
