Brewers switch for Nicholls

Walsall boss Richard Money has allowed teenage striker Alex Nicholls to join Conference side Burton Albion on loan.

The 19-year-old has only recently returned from a broken leg and Money hopes the experience with the Brewers will serve the young forward well in the long-term.

"Alex is a talented young player," he told the Saddlers official website.

"I don't feel that the time is right to bring him into our first team at the moment, so a spell away will be beneficial to everyone concerned.

"We'll monitor his progress closely and I'm sure he'll enjoy getting regular first-team football."
