Boertien praises Hutchings start

Chris Hutchings took the reins at the O's just over two weeks ago and, with assistant manager Martin O'Connor by his side, has made a solid start to his tenure.[LNB]Boertien told the club's official website: "The new manager has come in with fresh ideas and breathed new life into the place. He is trying to help us achieve a real level of consistency that will allow us to put a run of positive results together.[LNB]"Both Chris Hutchings and Martin O'Connor have good credentials and we're enjoying life under them, even though the weather has prevented us from getting out and doing the work on the training ground that they would have liked."[LNB]The Saddlers are currently stranded in mid-table, 14 points off a play-off place. And Boertien is fully aware they need to string a run of results together sooner rather than later if they are to mount a promotion charge.[LNB]"We know that it's a big game against Hartlepool on Saturday because they are one of a group of clubs around us in the table, but we showed what we are capable of against Leeds last weekend," he added.[LNB][LNB]
